Recently, I have been on a pink lipstick kick and on the search for the perfect color. I feel like I’m always looking for the perfect subtle, nude, pink lipstick, that can be worn everyday, but also flirty enough for date night. Sometimes, I search and try so many that I really forget what I was even looking for in the first place. A couple weeks ago, I went into MAC and the lady asked if she could help me and I told her I was on the search for the perfect pink lipstick. She looked at me and said, “Honey, aren’t we all? We’re always searching for the perfect pink lipstick.” I was like, “Okay, she totally gets me!” Haha! Here are some of my recent lip colors that I’m loving right now! I can’t say I have a definite favorite yet, but we may never know. 🙂
I was going to show pictures of what they look like on, but since lip colors look different on everyone, there’s really no point.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick: Color – Pink Pout $5.99
I love this color and it’s really up there for being my favorite! It is almost identical to the MAC lipstick in color snob, but way less money! It’s a pink with cooler tones. It’s not a shiny lipstick, but also not a matte. I have worn it with a lip liner and without. I couldn’t find this in the store, but I found it on Amazon. I usually always use the lip liner from Bobbi Brown in color Ballet Pink , but I also like MAC lip liner in color Whirl.

MAC Satin Lipstick: Color- Snob $19.00
I used to wear this color a few years ago and it’s always be a favorite. It is pretty popular, so I wasn’t able to find this one in my store, which is why I went on the search for a dupe color.

I wore this a lot around Christmas time. I like to go a little more bold around the holidays and it was the perfect color when I didn’t want to go with a red lipstick. This is definitely an all year round color though. This is the color that pretty much looks good on everyone and every skin tone. What I also like about it, is that it stays on, but it’s not drying on your lips.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Balm: Color – Nude Lavalliere $38
Oh man, this lipstick is super hydrating and smells fruity! I tried it on the second I got in the car after purchasing it, and it felt like I was putting on chapstick. This is definitely a good lipstick to wear in the colder months when your lips tend to be more dry. It’s not a long lasting lipstick, but I was actually shocked how well it did stay on me. After I put it on I ate a Jimmy John’s sub and there was still some color left on my lips. 🙂 Lucy, my 7 year old daughter, calls this my fancy lipstick. Lol!

NYX Profeesional Makeup Butter Lip Gloss: Color –Â Vanilla Cream Pie $4.99
You can’t go wrong with a NYX Butter Lip Gloss. They are affordable, come in a lot of colors, and just perfect to wear everyday. I love the shade of pink this is. It’s enough color to brighten me up and adds pop to any outfit! I love this color going into spring.

Landcome Juicy Tube: Color – Tickled Pink $23
I have loved the Landcome Juicy Tubes since I was in high school! They give your lips such a fresh, healthy, and pouty look! Some of them are more of a gloss with minimal color, but this color is such a pretty pink! On days when I feel blah or when other lip colors aren’t doing it for me, I turn to this one! It’s also pefect for summer or vacation, because it doesn’t look like you’re trying to go all glam. It’s just a natural looking, fun lip gloss!
