A dewy makeup look can go entirely wrong and you can end up looking greasy and or too shiny. I have always loved a more dewy look, for myself, rather than a matte makeup look. My skin isn’t super oily, but on the normal to oily side, so it’s been a lot of trial and error to achieve this look. One product that also helps to achieve radiant/glowing skin is Lancome Genifique. If you’re new around here, I share this product all the time and swear by it! It’s worth every penny! One other important factor is exfoliating your skin. I use the Tao face brush 3-4 times a week, the Glam Glow Youth mud Mask once a week, and the T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial mask by Drunk Elephant. Also, before I apply any makeup, I use the Tula Rose Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm. If feels so good under your eyes and gives you that “awake glow.”
Please excuse the mirror in this pic. It must have been the angle of the sun because I cleaned it, but it still looked like this.

You can use just a little for a more natural look, but even if you use a generous amount, your skin still looks natural and not thick. If that makes sense. 🙂 I use shade 7 and apply with a make up brush.

I use both of these concealers, sometimes one over the other, or some days I mix them. It just depends on the day, weather, and condition of my skin. I use a damp beauty blender, or even my fingers, to apply under my eyes, but I never go all the way under my eyes. With mature skin, I don’t want to worry about concealer settling into fine lines, so I just apply in the corners of my eyes. I also apply down the bridge and both sides of by nose and around my mouth.

If I have dark circles that the Tarte concealers didn’t cover, I will apply just a dab under and on the corner of my eyes. I use shade 6 (ivory) and sometimes shade 7. I absolutely LOVE this concealer and have been using it for 10 years! It covers really well and it’s waterproof!
